Your Agency at the Centre of the Network
VendorDesk is designed for the hub-and-spoke model of modern staffing: your agency (the hub) works with multiple sub-vendors (the spokes), each supplying candidates for your client roles. You control the client relationship and the margins; vendors get a clean portal to submit and track their candidates.
Onboarding a Sub-Vendor
Go to Sub-Vendors → + Add Vendor. Fill in the vendor company name, their primary contact, email, and phone. VendorDesk creates a portal account for them automatically — they receive a login email with their credentials.
Assigning Requirements to Vendors
Open any Requirement and click Assign Vendors. You can assign the same requirement to multiple vendors simultaneously — each sees the full JD and submission deadline, but cannot see other vendors' submissions.
Tracking Vendor Performance
VendorDesk automatically tracks each vendor's submission volume, shortlist-to-submission ratio, and placement rate. Go to Analytics → Vendor Performance to see a ranked leaderboard.
| Vendor | Submitted | Shortlisted | Placed | Hit Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vendor Alpha | 24 | 10 | 4 | 67% |
| Vendor Beta | 18 | 6 | 2 | 44% |
| Vendor Gamma | 11 | 5 | 3 | 75% |
Use this data to prioritise your best-performing vendors and have data-backed conversations about submission quality with underperformers.
Vendor Notifications
VendorDesk keeps your vendors informed without you having to send manual emails. Vendors automatically receive notifications when:
- A new requirement is assigned to them
- One of their submitted candidates moves to a new stage
- A candidate is selected or rejected with feedback
